Soundcloud rap was officially coined in 2016 by Whiz Khalifa, but most persons claim that lots of rappers had used the genre before it was named.

Soundcloud Rapping is a sub-genre of hip-hop that refers to unclear delivery of rap lines by artists.

Soundcloud rappers are generally referred to as rappers that deliver unclear vocals. This is in contrary to the conventional way of rapping.

Although there were lots of controversies surrounding his style of music, his name still resonates among the younger generation who made, the larger part of his fan base, despite having such a short career.

Jacques Berman Webster also known as Travis Scott, ws born on  April 30, 1991). Travis is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Travis signed his first major-label deal with Epic Records in 2012 and has since then been making waves in the world rap music.

Austin Richard Post was born on the 4th of July1995. He is another American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer notable for Soundcloud rapping. He shot to limelight in 2015 when he released of his debut single “White Iverson” which was in the top 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Gucci Mane

Gucci Mane, named Radric Delantic Davis at birth was born, February 12, 1980. Gucci is an American rapper. He helped pioneer the hip-hop subgenre of Soundcloud rapping with T.I. And Young Jeezy who are also rappers between 2000 and 2010.

Future

Last but not least is Future born Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn on 20th November 1983. He is also an  American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He has his record label called “Freebandz.” This was after he had signed two major deals with Epic Records and A1 Recordings consecutively.
